As previously stated, Transfer is available from the airport to the Hotel and we are also able to arrange car rental for the guests. Cars can be collected from the airport on arrival, or delivered to the Hotel.

  It is helpful to remember that it is probably not worthwhile hiring a car straight from the airport when it will be little used on that first day. We would suggest using the transfer service and arranging delivery of a hire car the following day, having arrived, rested and had a good night's sleep thus economizing on a day's car hire.

  It is probably an equally reasonable suggestion, if you arrive tired from your journey, to spend the first couple of days resting or enjoying a trip out by buggy, and leave renting a car until your second or third day to make maximum use of the car.

  There are two possible routes from the airport to the hotel. We will show you one here which is about 2km longer, but by far the easiest to navigate, using only four main roads:

Stage 1 - Av. Senador Carlos Jereissati - 6 km
 
   On leaving the airport, take the first right, signposted "PRAIA (beach) and CENTRO (city centre), then right again in order to get back onto the same road, but going in the opposite direction, so that you pass once again in front of the airport. This is Avenida Senador Carlos Jereissati and you will be on this for about 6km. Stay on this main road, following the same signs, until it passes over the BR-116, then take the first turning on the right (signposted RETORNO (return) and CENTRO (city center) to join the BR-116 following signs to CENTRO.

2nd stage - BR-116, Av. Aguanambi and Av. D. Manoel - 7.5 km

  After about 3km this avenue changes its name from the BR-116 to Av. Aguanambi and then a little further on, to Av Dom Manoel (4.5km). Continue on this road, always in the same direction, regardless of its width or which way it turns, and you will come eventually to where it ends at a junction, in front of the Dragao do Mar Cultural Centre. Take the left turn at this junction, signposted ICARAI and CUMBUCO.

3rd stage - Avenida Castelo Branco (also known as the East-West Avenue) from the Dragao do Mar Cultural Centre to the CE 090- 12km

  After turning left in front of the Dragao do Mar Cultural Centre, you will be on a dual carriageway signposted BARRA DO CEARA. Continue on this avenue and you will see to your left the Central Market (MERCADO CENTRAL) and the Cathedral, then you will see on your right, Fortaleza's largest hotel, the MARINA PARK on the sea front. Continue for another 12km on this road until you reach a spectacular toll bridge over the mouth of the Ceara River. The bridge spans 600 meters and offers magnificent views over the sea. Passing through the toll point, carry on until you reach the end of this avenue,where it joins up with the CE-090.

4th stage - CE-090 - (3km) - this is the main road from Fortaleza to Icaraí and Cumbuco.

  On joining up with the CE-090, simply follow this main road for 3km until you reach a right-hand turn just before a gas station called "Posto de Gasolina Porto Belo" which is situated on a sharp bend to the left. Take this right-hand turn and the entrance to the Hotel is another 200 metres, on your right.
